What is your favorite and least favorite part of every day?
The least favorite part of the day is easy. Right now it is winter and it is cold. Getting out of my warm bed and walking to school is less than fun. It is even worse since my destination is actually colder than the walk. Once the sun is out I walk around outside the classrooms to get the feeling back in my fingers.

Favorite part of the day changes. Thursdays in Form A science are fun because we always play Jeopardy in preparation for the test the next day. Kids really like that. Anytime I am actually teaching and not just sitting around in the office killing time has the potential to be fun depending on how awake the kids are and if they are interacting, but it is a crapshoot. Weekends vary a lot. I burn trash every Sunday morning which is way more fun than it should be. Other times I’ll go hang out with teachers or maybe some students or they’ll come to my house.

I’ve also started tutoring a kid who is retaking his COSC exam (basically SAT, GED, MCAS, and exit exam all combined) which I like. More relaxed atmosphere, he tries super hard, is a nice kid, and teaching is just easier and more fun with fewer people in general.
